You can grow garlic sprouts from the garlic clove. You can add the new garlic sprouts to salads or pasta because they will have a milder flavor. You should put them in a glass with some water when they begin to sprout.
The stems of cilantro will grow if you put them in a glass with water. When the roots are long enough, you should transfer them to a pot with soil. Make sure to place them in a room with enough lighting. In a few months, your new plants will be fully grown.
In order to grow new romaine lettuce, use the bottom of a lettuce head. Put romaine lettuce stumps in a 1/2 inch water.
